ASAP Parlour in Birds Eye Maple - Leonardo Guitar. NOW SOLD
Another beautiful Leonardo guitar without any tropical hardwoods in the construction. The back and sides of this guitar are made from beautiful birds eye maple that was found in a barn about 100 years ago and brought to Ireland by a friend when he moved here in the bottom of a container with his belongings. The top is rare pink cedar wih walnut bindings. The neck is made from laminates of Irish fiddleback sycamore with Irish walnut laminates. More Irishwalnut for the fingerboard and bridge. It is a stunning package and, as with all the parlour guitars I have made, delivers much more in sound quality and volume than the size of the body suggests. A Highlander pickup allows for plugging it tino a desk or amp. If I was making a guitar for myself again it would be a parlour.
