This was a first for me. I've made quite a few ASAPB6 basses ona jumbo body but Claudio wanted his to be an archtop. And it worked really well. The top was handcarved sitka spruce with handcarved back and sides from Irish fiddleback sycamore. Fiddleback sycamore for the bindings and Irish walnut for the tail and headstock veneer. Rocklite was used for the fingerboard and bridge. Acoustically it sounded great. Amplified it had both magnetic and piezo outputs courtesy of the RMC syatem and a Larkin/Armstrong custom Humbucker. Claudio loaned it back to me to show at the 2016 Holy Grail Guitar Show in Berlin where it got a lot of attention. And it is fretless with a cherry sunburst.
A few more pics.
